I love Flash Gordon. It’s a damn good movie to have going in the background here at work.

As a kid, my little brother used to collect the Masters of the Universe toys. Every new season, they would offer a mail-away “collect them all” poster. He would hang them up in his room.
Looking at these as an adult, I am freaking blown away by their awesomeness.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I have. Heck - once I have a decent bar/game room my plan is to plot out one or two of these suckers and hang them up.
I HAVE THE POWER!!!

Speaking of Adidas, please check out this incredibly awesome video. Thank you.
Fast Don’t Lie!
So, I stumbled upon these shoes while searching for my “Holy Grail” Canvas Adidas Blacktops from 1995 (that’s an entirely different story).
Back in ‘96 I owned a pair of these shoes. Why were they so spiky on the bottom? I never knew. But the lead singer of Prodigy had a pair in black as well, and he copped them after I had mine, which made me feel extra awesome back in the day.
Sadly, an ex went on a closet rampage about 10 years ago and demanded that I toss out 3 pairs of old shoes to “Make room”. I did not collect sneakers back then and had not worn these wierd-ass shoes for maybe 7 years. I felt a little funny leaving them at the thrift store. I recall looking out the rear-view mirror at them, knowing I did the wrong thing giving them up.
Now the suckers go for 215.00 used on ebay - even for a size 12! I can onlyhope they get re-issued.
Lately I’m all about the mid-90’s Adidas Eqt range, Teal accents and all.
I love them not for their wonky yet functionally clunky designs, but also because they are kind of a forgotten chunk of adidas history. With all the recent retros of ever Nike Sneaker under the sun it’s nice to dig around and find gems like these.
